Kiara's Story
Story
Hello friends and family!
I have created this page because I want to make a difference.
My mother Michaela, died of breast cancer when I was two and a half years old, my brother Tom was only ten months old. We miss her a lot. Sometimes I just wish I could hear her voice and feel her arms around me.
In October this year is her 10th anniversary, it also happens to be the time of national breast cancer day, Pink Ribbon day! To celebrate my mum’s life, I decided I wanted to do something REALLY big. I am going to shave my head in October, but first I want to raise $20,000 or more for Pink Ribbon Day.
I really want to do this so hopefully, in the future, people won’t die of breast cancer, and kids like me, wont have to grow up without their mums to love them.
Over the next few months, TEAM KIARA, will be out and about in the Mitchell Shire, in the main streets, markets, sports venues etc, shaking our donation tins! We will also place donation boxes in shops, schools and anywhere else we can think of. You can also make a donation, here on this website too!
Please help me to help NBCF, together we can beat breast cancer!
Thank you for visiting.
Love Kiara!

National Breast Cancer Foundation
The National Breast Cancer Foundation is the only national body that funds life-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public. Research is the only way to prevent deaths, and improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed and treated. By funding only world-class research, the National Breast Cancer Foundation is working towards a goal of zero deaths from breast cancer.
