Bushwalk for Boobies 2018
Story
Hello friends and family!
As most of you are aware, I lost my Mum to breast cancer and this will be the 10 year anniversary since she died. Mum (Sue, Suie, Suzanne known to her nearest and dearest) struggled three times with this dreaded disease over a 16 year period. Words can not describe the highs and lows of emotion through these times for herself, me and the rest of our family and friends. Mum was so strong willed and even in her last few weeks of life she was making plans for our next holiday, she didn't think her time was up as frail as she was, she fought to the end. I will forever admire her strength and courage.
To assist in Mum's strong women approach we thankfully have had great family and friends to support us through the whole experience and I want to thank all those beautiful people who continue to show kindness and support to me. I still think about Sue regularly and I'm sure she will help guide us through our bushwalk camp challenge and send us a little of her strength to complete it with pride, power and courageousness!
If you think you might be interested in joining me on this little adventure to raise some money for breast cancer research and awareness please jump on board, get your buddies to sponsor you and dust off those hiking boots (or runners) and lets do it! The more the merrier, sisters before misters lets have a bit of fun, get out in the sun (hopefully), and breath in that beautiful South Coast air. If bush walking and camping is not for you, please help by donating to the fundraising page and follow us on instagram for regular updates @bushwalkforboobies. Bushwalking Details to follow;
